Apgar Village Lodge is located within Glacier National Park, 2 miles from West Glacier Village. The Lodge's cabins and motel units are set amidst the old growth cedars along the southern end of Lake McDonald and the shores of McDonald Creek. This Lodge features 28 rustic cabins and 20 motel units, all are non-smoking with private bathrooms with shower stalls and electric heat. 26 of the quaint and cozy cabins have kitchens.

This is Colonels Smoking Gun, fondly known as Gunner. Gunner was part of the NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) and was a $5 million dollar Quarter Horse sire. Sadly, on July 8th, Gunner was euthanized. He was diagnosed with laminitis. Colonels Smoking Gun was a beautiful sire and an amazing reining horse at the top of his game.
